About Sterlite Grid 5 Limited (SPT Grid)
Sterlite Grid 5 Limited is the holding company for the power transmission infrastructure business that was carved out of Sterlite Power Transmission Limited (now Sterlite Electric Limited) in 2024: it took over the business of developing, building and owning high-voltage transmission lines in India and Brazil, and shareholders of Sterlite Power received one Sterlite Grid 5 share for every share they held. Its main operating arm is Resonia Limited, the transmission developer formerly called Sterlite Grid 32, in which it held 51% at 31 March 2025 with a single other investor holding 49%. It shares its promoters, Anil Agarwal and Twin Star Overseas Limited, with Sterlite Electric.
